I need some help. I tried to ask on the GameShark boards, where the mods turned a collective nose up at My questions about an old PS1 system game and refused to answer. So, I figured that SOMEBODY around here has GameShark codes for Final Fantasy VIII, and know they work.

The problems I'm having is that according to every resource I can get My hands on (both offline and off), the GameShark codes for Diablos and Carbuncle are exactly the same (Max HP and so forth). I'm also having trouble finding the code(s) to have all of the items and have them maxed out. I have the code for infinate usage, but it won't give Me more than what it usually starts out with. There's three different item codes that I've found huntin' through the net, and they all have the same result of infinite items, but not havin' all items to start with. I know there's a code for it, used to have it. I had an old-style GameShark that plugged in the back of a PS, and I know the codes on there worked, but I lost that PS and GameShark in the move up here. Now I have a different PS1, and am stuck usin' a CDX version.

If anybody can get Me these codes, at least the items one, it would be greatly appreciated.

The guy downstairs has all the codes, but he seems to have poofed. I think his girlfriend and him had a fight over his obssession with FF and not getting a job.....anyway, if he comes back around I'll hit him up for his list for you...

Speaking of FF, I just finished XII....wicked game...stupid ending. -sigh-

When in doubt, go to Game FAQ's. 9 times out of ten, one of the people who posted up a game guide has game codes right inside of the guide.

Been there. The only codes they have are for the EU version, and don't work for the one I have. Thanks for the advice, though.

Sorry mano I don't need codes to beat the game. I'ma straight balla I fucked that shit up. I love that game tho, one of my all time favorites.

I've played and beat the game enough without codes that the challenge is gone. Great game, don't get Me wrong, but now I just wanna play it for fun, hence the codes.

Ahh the days of good ol rpg games. I miss them especially Legend of Dragoon. I fucking loved that game!

Got that one. In fact, just finished goin' through and beatin' it again for the upteenth million time last week. I agree, it kicks some serious ass.

Well, I'm still hunting for those codes, so if anyone has any clue as to where I can find ones that work, please-please-PLEASE! let Me know something? I really wanna play this game, but doing so without the codes just won't be as fun as it would with them (I pretty much just wanna watch the story unfold).

The codes I'm looking for are:
Infinite/All Items
Inf/All Magic
Inf Gil
Any others that might be useful along those lines.
